50 Stunning Travel Photos That Will Make You Want to Visit Myanmar

It’s nearly impossible to capture the immense complexity and beauty of Myanmar, but over the past 7 years as a Media Director for Build a School in Burma, I’ve tried my best to do it justice through the lens of my camera. Working for the U.S. based non-profit BSB which partners with local NGOs in Myanmar to improve access to education across the country, I’ve fallen in love with a country across the globe from my own. Since founding Build a School in Burma, we have built thirty schools with a diverse range of ethnic and religious groups without discrimination across the nation. Eight more are under construction this year. Allowing me to see and understand places many foreigners never lay eyes on, I feel truly privileged for the experiences my work at Build a School in Burma has given me since 2011. Encountering Myanmar in dictatorship and democracy, moments of violence and peace, beauty and destruction, has only led to my growing curiosity about Myanmar.

Below you will simply find a collection of photos from my past four visits to Myanmar that feature magnificent landmarks, wonderfully compassionate people, and the unlimited potential for good on this planet. Anyways, people are amazing. Enjoy the photos.
